The Malaysian Handicraft Centre offers a wide variety of Malaysian handicraft and also an insight into various craft making. Some of the exquisite items, which can be found here, are songket, batik, vases and mats, hats, wallets and bags made from pandanus leaves. Visitors can also get a chance to witness first hand skills of local artisans in songket weaving, batik painting, basket weaving, etc. If you wish to find out more about the craft, then hop to State Museum in Losong.

Besides being considered as the centre for handicraft and traditional textiles in Terengganu, beautiful beach of Chendering is a must visit for its famous nasi dagang, for picnicking, swimming, fishing, etc.
