Bakau Tinggi is a swampy mangrove of Sungai Bakau Tinggi. One of the main attractions of this park is its river, long and winding with waters so clear you can see the fish swimming. Here, all the basic facilities are provided including gazebos, playgrounds, public toilets and food stalls. Broadwalks and jetties have been built as added convenience.

What makes this park unique is its riverbank that has mangrove swamps. Shelters and wooden walkway have been built so that you can enjoy a picnic in a shaded wooded area. Tthis is a good place for students to learn about the mangrove eco-system and its plant and wildlife. To please the children, this park also comes with a set of swings, slides and see-saws. Not an absolute must-see, but a place to relax to break your driving journey.
